Shipping & Delivery Policy

South Africa Delivery

Leavers and Brakes partners with trusted national couriers to ensure fast, reliable delivery across South Africa.
We offer Standard DHL shipping available at checkout.

Delivery details:

  • Free Standard Delivery on all orders.

  • Standard Delivery: 2–6 working weeks depending on location.

  • Orders are dispatched within 1 working day, provided items are in stock.

  • Special order items or products sourced directly from suppliers will be shipped once they arrive at our warehouse.

Note: Certain items (such as brake fluids, aerosols, or lithium batteries) may have shipping restrictions due to courier safety regulations.


International Delivery

We ship globally via DHL Express to ensure safe, trackable delivery worldwide.
Shipping rates and delivery times vary based on your region and selected service.

Estimated international times:

  • Express Shipping: 3–5 working weeks depending on destination.

  • Economy Shipping: 7–10 working weeks depending on country and customs clearance.

Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees may apply. These costs are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer.
We are not responsible for customs delays or fees once the order leaves South Africa.


Order Processing & Dispatch

Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive:

  • An Order Confirmation email.

  • A tracking number once your parcel has shipped.

Orders placed before 1pm are processed the same day (Monday–Friday).
Orders placed after 1pm or on weekends will be processed the next business day.


Fitment Responsibility

We strive to ensure accurate listings, but fitment must always be verified using the manufacturer’s official compatibility guide before purchase.

Customs, Duties & Risk

Once items are dispatched, shipping risk passes to the customer or chosen courier.
We take great care to pack all products securely and ensure they leave in perfect condition.
All international buyers are responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or import charges in their respective countries.


Collection

If you prefer to collect your order locally, please contact us to arrange a suitable time.
Collection is available from Hillcrest, Durban by appointment only.


Delivery Issues

If our courier is unable to deliver, they will leave a notification and arrange re-delivery.
If goods are returned to us due to incorrect address details or non-collection, you may be required to pay additional shipping costs for re-dispatch.


Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods transfers to you only once full payment has been received.
We reserve the right to cancel or refund any order affected by stock errors, courier restrictions, or pricing discrepancies.
