The HEL Performance Rear Master Cylinder Range represents the next level in precision engineering, race-proven design, and UK-manufactured quality. Machined entirely from solid 6082-T6 aluminium billet, each master cylinder delivers lightweight strength, superior hydraulic feel, and uncompromising reliability — whether on the street, the circuit, or the Isle of Man TT.
Both versions — Standard Rear Master Cylinder and Twin Rear Master Cylinder — are engineered to integrate seamlessly behind the heel plate of most motorcycles, thanks to their square-format design and slotted mounting holes for precise positioning. Each unit is assembled, pressure-tested, and quality checked in-house by HEL before dispatch.
The Standard HEL Rear Master Cylinder is designed for riders seeking clean installation, smooth rear brake feel, and high-performance response. Featuring a 13 mm bore size, this master cylinder offers excellent modulation and control for a wide range of motorcycles — from custom street builds to race bikes.
Available in Black Anodised or Nickel-Plated finishes, with the signature HEL “H” logo individually hand-painted for a premium touch.

The HEL Twin Rear Master Cylinder takes performance and flexibility a step further. Built on the same CNC billet foundation, this version adds dual ports to allow both thumb/finger brake and foot control to operate the same rear caliper — ideal for track riders and racers who require dual braking control options.
This innovative system replaces the traditional reservoir setup with twin brake lines, where one line acts as the reservoir for the other, allowing a clean, compact setup. Only one braking method (thumb or foot) can be engaged at a time, providing safe and efficient operation under all conditions.
